“Sweet Little Jesus” is a tender lullaby for the Christ child. The opening musical statement takes its inspiration from the Spiritual “Sweet Little Jesus Boy,” but the piece follows as wholly original. Unison until the last chorus which combines two sections to create lovely complimentary duet, the piece is quite accessible. The overall effect is one of peace and loveliness.
